Windy City - FS 457

The Windy City trail starts right off of Route 66 in Russel City, Pennsylvania. It starts right off with some old oil field relics along the old railroad grade. There are a few other old relics throughout the trail. The trail is typical of many Allegheny National Forest trails and is a pretty good dirt and gravel road. Only during inclement weather would four wheel drive be necessary. Accessibility: Like many forest roads, its condition can vary, and it is best to check the Allegheny National Forest Motor Vehicle Use Map (MVUM) for the latest information on its status. Conditions are also subject to weather and seasonal changes.
