Trail 8A - Rock Run Recreation Area

Trail 8A- A trail of the Rock Run Recreation Area. Trail 8A is an original trail to the park. It should be able to be traversed by anyone on a motorcycle, ATV, or SxS. Trail 8A is just under a half mile in length and is part of the larger network at the park. This trail is dirt, rocks, and areas of grass. You may encounter some washouts and minor rutting in a few locations. Trail 8A is a "U" shaped loop trail, beginning and ending at the Inner Loop, with trail intersections with Trails 8 and 8B. It is mostly one vehicle wide with areas to pass. This trail is open to bikes, ATVs, and SxSs. The trail travels through mostly open meadows and is on a small grade with the high points at both ends and the low point at the bottom of the "U". This trail offers nice views of the surrounding meadowland and scenery. This is a two-way trail and offers a different experience riding it in both directions.
