Trail 11D - Rock Run Recreation Area

Trail 11D- A trail of Rock Run Recreation Area. Trail 11D is an original trail to the park. It should be able to be traversed by anyone on a motorcycle, ATV, or SxS with a little bit of skill. Trail 11D is a little under 2/10th of a mile in length and is part of the larger network at the park. This trail is dirt with some large loose rocks, a few short steep grades, and a few spots of mud. This trail travels through some open area but mostly woods while serving as a connector trail from Trail 11 to Trail 11E. This trail is entirely on a grade, steep in locations, and it travels on several terraces that were cut into the existing landscape in the era of coal mining many years ago. This trail is open to bikes, ATVs, and SxSs. This is a two-way trail that offers a different experience when ridden in both directions. Trail driven and documented in July 2025.
