Trail Overview
Ticklish Rock Road is a wide and smooth gravel road just outside of Loyalsock State Forest. Meandering through dense hardwood forest, many sections are a shelf road or are lined with exposed rock. The rock formation "Ticklish Rock" is accessible from a parking area and walking trail (both on private property, but access is allowed unless otherwise signed). If visiting the rock formation, please be respectful and leave the area better than you found it! The northern end of the road intersects with Ogdonia Road, while the southern end intersects Rock Run Road, just as it crosses from Sullivan County into Lycoming County.
Difficulty
Very easy travel in optimal conditions, suitable for most vehicles in dry weather, but may be unplowed in winter.
History
The road is signed as Ticklish Rock Road, though on many maps it appears as Ticklish Run Road or T300. It is unclear as to when the naming may have changed, but it is likely due to the more recent popularity of the rock formation.
