Trail Overview

This is a short seasonal-use road outside of Little Meadows, Pennsylvania, paved with stone. It is a low/no maintenance road that has some steep grade hill climbing on the way up. The road can be washed out at times and has no winter maintenance. About halfway up, you will be presented with a hard right to a steep hill climb section with a triple whoop that leads to a clearing where you can see the mountains off in the distance.

Difficulty

Though not a technical masterpiece of off-roading, you will see slick and deep snow at times, downed trees, and occasionally washed-out roadways. There are very few places to pull off or turn around. Though you can drive this road any season, autumn and winter will allow you to see more and have increased difficulty with mud and/or snow.

With the recent snow and cold weather my recommendation would be not to try to go up the hill. It's a lot closer to bobsledding then it is off-roading at the moment.

Trail was open and completely dry. I entered from the west. From that direction that first half looks like it fresh stone put down fairly recently. There was one real steep section but was able to do it in 2wd. Any AWD should be able to do it in wet or dry. Trail would be more challenging in winter for sure.

The uphill area that's unmaintained is getting slightly more difficult as water erodes the soil.

Very easy trail. Any stock wrangler can capably handle this. I drove with my 2.5” lifted truck on 37’s, was a total breeze. Could see this rating go up in rain or snow for stock vehicles.
