Running Gap Road is located in the Bald Eagle State Forest, and is a graded gravel road. There are two hiking trails off this road Top Mountain Trail and Nittany Mountain Trail. Easy drivability during Summer, Spring, Fall. Increased difficulties driving in snow and ice due to no Winter Maintenance.
