Trail Overview

Rocky Run - A trail of Rock Run Recreation Area. Rocky Run is an original trail to the park. It should be able to be traversed by anyone on a motorcycle, ATV, or SxS. Rocky Run is just a few hundred feet in length and is part of the larger network at the park. Originally named Rock Run, it used to travel along portions of other trails, so it was decided to remove this short section as a stand-alone trail. One end intersects Eastern Flats Road, and the other at the Outer Loop East. On the Outer Loop East intersection, there is a locked gate that accesses the former strip mine remediation treatment ponds. This trail is mostly dirt with the potential for both embedded and loose rocks. This trail is open to bikes, ATVs, and SxS’s. This is a two-way trail and offers a different experience riding it both directions. Trail driven and documented in March 2026.
