Trail Overview
Rock Run - A trail of Rock Run Recreation Area. Rock Run is an original trail to the park. It should be able to be traversed by most any rider on a motorcycle, ATV, or SxS. At just under 4/10ths of a mile, this trail is part of the larger network at Rock Run. Rock Run is mostly small slate with some loose stone, along with a few areas of mud. It is a narrow trail, one vehicle wide, with places to pass, and it travels mostly through the open woods. The namesake trail of Rock Run Recreation Area, this trail is unassuming and doesn’t live up to the name. Named after the nearby Rock Run stream, which starts nearby and parallels this section of the trail, the stream is a native trout stream and grows as it winds its way through the overall property. There are also several nearby ponds along this trail. This trail is open to bikes, ATVs, and SxSs. The trail travels entirely through the woods. This is a two-way trail and offers a different experience riding it both directions. Trail driven and documented in November 2025.
