Trail Overview
Radio Road - A trail of Rock Run Recreation Area. Located at the Northern End of the park, Radio Road should be able to be traversed by anyone with any type of machine. At 1.3 miles in length, it was built as part of the second phase of the park. Both ends of Radio Road start on Rouge’s Harbor Road at different points. Making a big loop, essentially, Radio Road offers a variety of terrain. One section is a wide dirt roadway with some ruts and large embedded rocks, traveling through open terrain. You then enter the wooded portion of the trail, which is tighter but still at least one vehicle wide. In this section, you’ll encounter some loose stone, rutting, and a short, steep hill. There are a few sections with potential standing water and/or mud. At one point, you pass over the Turbine 14 roadway before entering another wooden portion of the trail. There are some intersecting trails along Radio Road, such as Black Diamond and several of the OHV sector trails. This trail is open to all vehicle types. This is a two-way trail and offers a different experience riding it both directions. Trail driven and documented in August 2025
