Opossum Run - Rock Run Recreation Area

Opossum Run - A trail of Rock Run Recreation Area. Located on the Northern End of the park, Opossum Run should be able to be traversed by anyone on a motorcycle, ATV, or SxS. It is just under one mile in length. One end of Opossum Run starts on Lower Terrace Road, and the other end is at Mailbox Road. Long-time users of this trail will recognize a permanent reroute due to the construction of a windmill road. There are no intersecting trails along the length of Opossum. It is mostly narrow, but there is one section in the middle that is wider. This trail is mostly in the open, but does include some wooded sections. There is one section with a grade then it is fairly flat. You will encounter some mud and loose stones in sections. This trail is open to bikes, ATVs, and SxSs. This is a two-way trail and offers a different experience riding it both directions. Trail driven and documented in August 2025.
