Trail Overview

This is a nice, easy, dirt and gravel road to Hyner View State Park and Overlook. The Pennsylvania State Park at the overlook has full restroom facilities, parking lots, a scenic view of the west branch of the Susquehanna River, and picnic areas with tables. Old View Road takes you to Hyner View Road to the overlook.

Difficulty

This is an easy dirt/gravel road. There is no winter maintenance, however; in the winter months, there could be snow, which would increase the difficulty to a 3 or 4.

History

Hyner View is one of the state's most popular hang gliding sites, situated at Hyner View State Park just north of Lock Haven. Take a beautiful drive up there and enjoy the wonderful scenery. Once there, enjoy Clinton County from above!
