Trail Overview
OHV 46- A trail of Rock Run Recreation Area. OHV 46 is a designated Off-Highway Vehicle Trail and should be able to be traversed with skill and patience. OHV 46 begins and ends on Oak Lane. At 2/10th of a mile in length, this trail appears flat overall, but changes about 30 feet in elevation to its low point before starting back up hill. This trail travels through a mature forest in its entirety. There are some small obstacles, such as embedded rocks, roots, stumps, and downed trees, along with a few areas of larger embedded rocks that create a tight path between them, though likely one will need to climb one or both rocks to proceed. These rocks are up to three feet in height. There are several places where the trail is tighter and travels between trees. This is an intermediate OHV trail, and anyone should be able to traverse it with time, skill, and patience, though it is recommended to walk this trail prior to entering it. It is one vehicle wide for the entirety and is open to any off-highway vehicles. This is a two-way trail and offers a different experience running it in both directions. Trail driven and documented in January 2026.
