Trail Overview

Ogdonia Road is a wide, easily-traveled road through part of Loyalsock State Forest and beyond, to the border of Sullivan County and Lycoming County. The road surface is smooth gravel, with the occasional pothole or small puddle. The majority of this road follows Ogdonia Creek closely, making for a beautiful scenic drive. Throughout much of the year, ferns line the shoulders, and there are areas of dense evergreen as well. If seeking creek access, pay attention to private property and posted signs, as much of this road passes through privately owned land. Use this road for primary access to Deer Lake and Angel Falls.
