Trail Overview
Mountain Spring Road is a typical State forest graded gravel road that is within the Loyalsock State Forest and is managed by PA DCNR and the Ricketts Glen State Park. This trail is a in and out leading to the main highway from the mountain. There are two rather large ponds and fishing is allowed, with ice fishing in the winter months. The trail is surrounded by Big timber and pine trees, plenty of wildlife to see. Some hiking trails set back into the woods off from the trail. This trail is easily traversed in warm months, and can become more difficult in winter months due to snow and ice.
