Trail Overview

Martin Road is an easy gravel state forest road that enters Rothrock State Forest from the west and climbs to the ridge line of the Stone Mountain through the Martin Gap of the Rocky Ridge. This is a typical forest service road that can be used by any street-legal vehicle without difficulty, unless winter weather or a storm makes the road impassable. It's notable for offering access to Frew Road and its rock climbing in Rothrock State Forest. It begins at the Standing Stone Creek to the west, which is a popular fishing spot, and ends at Allensville Road in the forest.
