Trail Overview

This is a winding trail that passes Sones Pond in the eastern section of Loyalsock State Forest. The pond area has a small pavilion and leisure area if you need to stop for a snack, drink, etc. You will encounter beautiful scenery along the way and see some reforestation. There are several switchbacks along this route.

This is a very mild trail with no real obstacles of note. It's generally 2 vehicles wide, has some potholes, and is otherwise well maintained.

Extremely scenic and peaceful ride, definitely worth taking a drive to see and do some fishing it is accessible by ANYONE it is easy as easy can be.
