Trail Overview

Log Road is a mostly dirt trail off Dry Run Road in Sproul State Forest. The trail is wide and not enclosed by vegetation that could cause pin striping. There is a gate at the southern end of the trail that is closed during the summer but may open during hunting season. This is an easy, enjoyable trail that offers some mud and rutted dirt road without being too difficult or causing vehicle damage.

Difficulty

While Log Road is primarily a wide trail that offers little difficulty, there are some muddy areas that were very soft even in a dry season. There are a few ruts in the dirt trail. This is a very good trail for beginners wanting to get a little dirty but avoid potential vehicle damage.
