Trail Overview
Kealor starts off of Niver Road, a few miles outside of Kane, Pennsylvania. It is a typical Pennsylvania Forest Service road that is a combination of dirt and gravel. It passes oil production and logging operations, so beware of truck traffic at times. There are many trails that branch off of Keelor, but they are all gated. Kealor does connect to many other trails, such as Ludlow Jojo, Martin Run, and Windy City. About halfway through, Kealor crosses East Branch Tionesta Creek, which looks like a really nice little trout stream. There is a gate on a nearby offshoot with signage about fishing access, so I assume that this is a stocked stream. This trail is not very challenging, but during heavy rain or snow, some of the hills could require four wheel drive.
Difficulty
This road presents little to no challenge as it is a wide, well-maintained gravel road. It will likely not receive any winter maintenance, and as such, the bridge and hill may become difficult or dangerous to navigate.
