Trail Overview

This major connector trail links the highway to the Ridge Rambler track, providing a well-maintained route through the area's scenic forests. The surface is loose gravel but well-maintained, and the trail sees a fair amount of traffic. Like many trails in the region, it follows a meandering creek for much of its length, but unlike others, it offers scenic views upward rather than into the ravines and valleys. The route passes briefly through private land holdings at Deloy and Colbert Hollow, so be respectful of property boundaries. As with all trails in this area, always be aware of logging traffic in the area. Most sections are only one lane wide, so plan to pull over when encountering oncoming vehicles.
