Trail Overview
Grizzly Path - A trail of Rock Run Recreation Area. Located on the Northern End of the park, Grizzly Path should be able to be traversed by anyone on a motorcycle, ATV, or SxS. Originally built with a grant from Yamaha, Grizzly Path is named in honor of the former Yamaha 4-wheeler. It is almost one mile in length. One end of Grizzly starts on Lower Terrace Road, and the other end is at Mailbox Road. There are no intersecting trails along the length of Grizzly. It is mostly narrow throughout its length, all in the open meadows with a steady grade in its entirety. You will encounter both loose and embedded rocks and one steeper section of the trail. This trail is open to bikes, ATVs, and SxSs. This is a two-way trail and offers a different experience riding it both directions. Trail driven and documented in August 2025.
Difficulty
This is an easier dirt trail. You will encounter some obstacles under 12 inches, potential uneven terrain, rutting, and/or loose rocks. This trail is one vehicle wide with locations to pass.
