Trail Overview

This is generally an easy gravel trail that winds along and through Fishing Creek. It's about 1.5 vehicles wide, but there are numerous pull-outs to allow opposing traffic to pass. Remote and scenic. There are three water crossings that have a concrete slab bottom, but after significant rain, these could pose a challenge.

Difficulty

Other than the water crossings if the creek is running high, there is nothing here that a stock 2WD vehicle can't handle. This is a smooth gravel road for most of the trip and paved at the end on the way to the state park with the vista.

Access Description

I ran this trail starting from the northern end of the Fishing Creek South Nature Preserve and finished at Hawk Point in Susquehannock State Park. There's no reason you can't run it in the opposite direction, though.
