Trail Overview

Dog Run Road is primarily an ungraded dirt road. It is a deeply rutted, rocky, and off-camber ride in summer. However, there is no winter maintenance. The road will become heavily rutted and harder to travel on during rain, snow, and ice. There are areas of heavy mud and standing water. There are four stream crossings of Dog Run. During normal flow, it is about 12" deep. During spring snow melt and heavy rains, it will deepen to almost 3 feet at some crossings.

Access Description

Dog Run Road is primarily a north to south running road. It is accessed on the north from Dry Ridge Road right off of Pennsylvania State Route 331 and ends at the intersection with Shaler Road on the south.
