Trail Overview
Alan Seeger Road is a maintained gravel trail through Rothrock State Forest. The trail starts at the Alan Seeger Natural Area climbing a steep narrow trail to the top of Broad Mountain. The trail traverses a forest of deciduous trees, pine, mountain laurel, and rhododendron. The spring bloom and fall foliage are especially scenic. Only highway-legal vehicles are allowed. ATVs are not allowed.

Difficulty
The trail is steep and slightly off-camber in some sections with infrequent opportunities to to pass or pull off. The trail has occasional small potholes and 2" rocks. There is a hairpin turn that might be challenging for vehicles > 30' long.
