Adamson - FS 127

Adamson (FS 127) is a nice drive. It has some water-filled potholes. We saw a Female (Hen) Grouse along with babies. They were so small you could easily miss them, but knowing this time of the year they hatch, we waited and saw them run across the road. We also came across a painted turtle making its way across the road. We stopped for a quick picture and helped it along its way so it would not get hurt. At the West end is Tionesta Creek. Great for fishing and Kayaking or both. This road is open year-round to highway vehicles only. Conditions are also subject to weather and seasonal changes.
