5 Bay Play Area - Rock Run Recreation

5 Bay Play Area - A trail of Rock Run Recreation Area. 5 Bay Play Area is a short loop trail that offers a small play area. It should be able to be traversed by most any rider on a motorcycle, ATV, or SxS with a little skill. At 3/10th of a mile, this trail is part of the larger network at Rock Run. 5 Bay Play Area is mostly embedded rocks, though you may encounter some loose stone along with some other debris. There are some ruts from runoff and a few locations with standing water after rain. There is an old concrete footing from the prior strip job. One can ride the outer area of the play area, or choose to play on the interior. There are two short hill climbs and a large open area that is a rider's favorite for doing donuts. At the far end, one can stop and look up the valley for several miles. This trail is open to bikes, ATVs, and SxSs. The trail travels all in the open. This is a two-way trail and offers a different experience riding it both directions. Trail driven and documented in November 2025.
