Trail Overview

This is an out-and-back track with many challenging portions including steep uphill rocky sections and occasional washouts. When you see the signs on the trees indicating a bridge ahead this is when you should turn around. The bridge is for SNOWMOBILES ONLY and will not support the weight of anything else. Please abide by this warning and the ones posted on the trail itself.

Difficulty

The trail starts out from the main road like most others in this area. Quickly the trail gets narrow and steep and goes from a compacted dirt surface to a loose rock surface. I had a spotter with me in my Ram which helped in a few places to get over the washout areas. There are few places to turn around here so keep this in mind when you enter the trail.

Pretty dry at the moment, there are a lot of dips that could hold water, definitely wouldn’t go fast here. Gentle, rocky grades. The end of the trail is tight to turn around at just before the bridge, a two door jeep can do it but longer vehicles may need to reverse for a bit. The lake/pond near the end is private and gated, can’t see it from the trail, although looks like people camp at the first pond now and then.

Muddy and in some spots, loose stones on hills, but just enough to keep it super fun. Made it all the way to the bridge no problem.
