This trail features a mildly steep and rutted descent that brings you out just above the main obstacle on the Waterfall trail. It serves as a great access point if you're looking to spot your friends attempting the climb or assist with a recovery. You can also use this route to ascend the lower portion of the Waterfall, which is considered the easier section of that trail. While there are no major technical obstacles, the ruts and slope require some attention, especially in wet conditions.
