Trail Overview

The Wayne County Road 537 is a generally maintained gravel road. It features a flat gravel road along Holliday Creek east of Greenville, Missouri, crossing several bridges over the creek below. The main use of this road is to bypass the town and access public lands via more gravel roads, featuring Wayne County culture and scenic creek valley views with the guardian hills surrounding it. Be sure to be on the lookout for the sign shed and the rock bluffs that hide in the shadows of the hillside treelines.

Difficulty

As this is a simple 1/10 gravel road, expect the normal gravel complications in the form of potholes, mounding, and washboarding. Due to the proximity to Holliday Creek, flash flooding events have the potential to cause serious changes to the road. Be alert during rainy and wet conditions for such changes, as difficulty would increase in inclement weather.
