Trail Overview

Despite the name, this does not lead you to a camp. This does lead to scenic views from a ridge top. This is an out-and-back trail, as according to the 2024 MVUM this trail does not continue off of the ridge. There are tire tracks to show people have done otherwise. There is a nice turnaround point at the end of the trail.

Difficulty

There is overgrowth from trees along the way so be prepared for scratches in the paint of your vehicle. There are also larger rock steps that may be challenging for some vehicles.

Beautiful route, little to no water in puddles when I came through, ymmv. Unique compared to a lot of MTNF where you get wide open expansive views across the valley as you follow the ridge along.
