Trail Overview

This trail is easily accessed from Cedar Lane through the primitive campsite on the northwest side of the park. This trail is non-directional and can be run from either end. The first part of the trail is easy with the potential for mud puddles depending on recent rainfall. You will come to a steep downhill with smaller rock ledges. This hill drops you down to where this trail meets Appaloosa. The trail runs alongside Appaloosa until you come to the other side, which is an uphill climb. The uphill climb is as steep as the downhill, with smaller rock obstacles to overcome. The trail can be slick when wet. A 4WD with good low range and a minimum of 33-inch tires is recommended.
