Trail Overview
Rolling Rock 86 is connected to Green 22 at the top and Jeep Trail 75 at the bottom. This trail features several rocky areas, including obstacles up to three feet tall that require careful line selection and decent ground clearance. Some parts of the trail are noticeably off-camber, increasing the risk of tire slippage or body lean. Near the top, a dirt-based hill climb can become very slick and tough to navigate when wet. Due to the terrain layout and hill angle, this trail is generally easier to descend than it is to climb. Proper tires and steady throttle control are recommended.
Difficulty
This trail presents a moderate to advanced challenge depending on conditions, with tall rocks and sections of uneven ground that demand both clearance and careful approach angles. The off-camber portions add to the complexity, especially for longer vehicles. The dirt hill near the top becomes especially slick when wet, increasing the difficulty substantially. Drivers will typically find the route less demanding when heading downhill, as climbing the loose terrain can be significantly more technical.
