Trail Overview

Red 217 is located south of the office and the main road through the park. This is a non-directional trail so you can run it from either direction. This trail may be easier to run for some coming from where it connects to Green 214. At the other end, it meets with Double Diamond Purple 276, Arch Cave Cliff Drive 275, and Green 277.

Difficulty

The bottom of this trail has rock steps that are on a fairly steep graded hill climb. Some of the steps are going to be up to 12 inches tall and may be more challenging for some than others. You can also expect some areas to be off-camber past this point. And there are larger loose rocks throughout the trail.
