Trail Overview
This trail features thick tree overgrowth in multiple areas, so expect possible pinstriping. Early on, it drops into a deep mud section with a firm base, followed by a series of whoops that can challenge longer wheelbase vehicles. Scattered throughout are rocks reaching up to 2 feet in height. One of the more notable sections is a dirt-based hill climb with a sharp turn--slick and potentially hazardous when wet, especially near trees. Parts of the hill are washed out, requiring solid suspension flex to maintain tire contact and prevent loss of momentum. Memphis' Hill 87 is best suited for going down than it would be to climb.
Difficulty
This trail presents a range of terrain changes that can challenge both driver skill and vehicle capability. Mud sections with a firm bottom, uneven whoops, and 2-foot rock features demand careful line choices. The off-camber hill climb with washouts adds complexity, especially in wet conditions, where traction loss and tight clearances increase the risk of body or undercarriage contact. Proper suspension articulation and cautious throttle control are highly recommended.
