Trail Overview

Lost Creek Road is a scenic, graded gravel road. The road is fairly smooth, with the typical potholes. Shortly after you start, you'll come across a flowing waterfall off the road to the left. As you travel down, you find yourself at various creek crossings. The depth varies from an inch to eight inches without rain. After a decent storm, the road can become impassable. The road is typically wide enough for two cars to pass, except in water crossings. We find the gravel bar a nice place to eat lunch and let the dogs out. All in all, Lost Creek Road is a calm, scenic drive.

Stock rear 2wd 2010 Yukon Denali only made it half after a heavy rain. There was a Nissan Pathfinder that also turned around, looked slightly modded. The waterfall was really cool.

I was close by and decided to check out the Lost Creek Road. Easy trail. Could be ran in a two wheel drive truck/SUV. Water crossings was 12 inches or less. Seen a pair of wild turkeys sunbathing on the trial. Highly recommend if your close.

Big storm had came through about an hour before us. Couple trees across the road. Moved what I could and drove around/over the rest. Water crossings were full but passable.

Pretty easy, water wasn’t too high when crossing and roads were pretty straight forward nothing too crazy. Easy beginner trial.

Road was a little rough from recent snow melt washing away some gravel, but easy to travel - overall a beautiful backroad. 10+ water crossings along this trail!

This is a nice scenic trail, with a few cross road water crossings and on one part of the trail you will have to drive in the creek bed for a few hundred years before another water crossings. It was fairly dry, and may become impassible during wet weather. We did see some wild life. The water fall is pretty cool as well.
