Trail Overview

Forest Service Road (FSR) 912 is connected at both ends to Glade Top Southwest - FS 149. It is located on the northern side of the Glade Top Trail. FSR 912 offers a variety of obstacles from rocky sections, to tight squeezes between trees, to smaller creek crossings. If you are looking for something a bit more challenging in this area than this would be one of these trails.

Difficulty

This trail is very rocky. There is everything from gravel at one end to rock steps up to 2 feet tall in some spots. Where this trail curves to the left there is a washout right at a tree root that will cause your vehicle to be off-camber. The water crossing would be higher after recent rainfall as well. There is one spot between trees that is going to be a tight fit for wider vehicles or vehicles with longer wheelbases.
