Trail Overview

Forest Service Road (FRS) 605 is a spur trail off of Skyline Drive. This trail runs all the way until it connects with Mannon Road to the north. As of March 22nd, 2025, there is evidence of a controlled burn done along this area of the Mark Twain National Forest. Because of this, you can expect trees to be down along the trail or branches of trees. This trail would be a nice connector trail to hit Highway 76 a bit quicker instead of taking Skyline Drive all the way to Highway 125.

Difficulty

This trail is rocky in some spots with tighter areas as well. Expect scratches in your vehicle's pain from the overgrowth.

Trail relatively easy there were two trees down across trail but I was able to crawl over easily with 33 inch tires. There were areas of tight growth with limbs lightly rubbing vehicle. I wouldn’t recommend a really nice rig if you worry about scratching
