Trail Overview

Forest Service Road (FSR) 147C is an offshoot trail of Wildcat Road. This trail will connect you to FSR 921B at the other end. This trail has various terrains along the way. Everything from scenic views on top of a ridge, to rocky sections, muddy areas, to water crossings.

Difficulty

There are various spots along this trail that are rocky with smaller rock ledges up to 18 inches tall. Some spots have eroded away and will have your vehicle off-camber. The water crossing ranges from smaller streams to larger areas that could get fairly deep depending on the recent rainfall. You will come to a rocky section towards the end where one side is less rocky than the other unless you want to test your suspension flex. Just past this are berms that could be more challenging for longer-wheelbase vehicles

Probably one of my favorite trails. Has a mix of just about everything. Awesome vista at the top, some nice shelves to crawl, tight squeezes through some trees, water crossings (nothing crazy unless it is the rainy season) and some great places to stop and shoot the breeze with your buddies.
