Bollinger County Road 366, known by local residents as BOCO 366, is your typical Bollinger County road. There is a large creek gravel road surface with multiple deep potholes and washouts. Located in approximately the middle of the route, you will come to a low water bridge that typically has 1-3 inches of water flow over the bridge surface. If it has rained recently, this water could be well over 12 inches deep and very strong current. It would not be advisable to cross during conditions like this. On a nice summer day, the gravel bar next to this bridge makes an excellent swimming hole. Be careful of the deep gravel when pulling off the main road surface, though. Keep an eye out for deer and other critters, especially in the evenings.

Difficulty

The difficulty of the area is usually based on two things: how wet it is and how neglected it is. This is a great example of a road that can swing from stable and easy to ride all the way over to wet and a subtle challenge when heavily wet, your biggest concern would be flash flooding in the event of heavy rains or a very wet season. Due to the potential water crossings, this road receives a 2/10.
