Trail Overview

This is the southwest corner of Beinville National Forest. The trail is made up of 3 roads in this order, USFS Road 516, Smith County Road 521, and USFS Road 521-A. This is a pretty easy trail as long as you have 4wd. The end of this trail on USFS road 521-A isn't well maintained. USFS Rd 521-A could be very slick after a rain. This is beautiful landscape to see all throughout it's entirety. There are multiple spots to camp down each road.

Difficulty

After inclement weather roads could become very slick. At the end of the trail there are a decent amount of shallow mud holes without rain this past week. The creek crossing could also get deep, depending on the amount of rainfall

Trail was pretty dry for the most part. Very little mud or slick spots. Water crossing was very low with not much water in the stream. 2 to 3 other cars on the trail due to hunting season.

this trail has some water holes that are full most year around and about a foot deep depending on weather. The water crossing can get several feet deep depending on weather bust most of the time its about a foot. The last quarter of the trail can be very tough with very deep ruts and washouts narrow pathway and holes and overgrown. High 4x4 and tall tires are highly recommended in the last section.

521-A is unmaintained, expect pin striping. Some heavier washouts but still manageable with 4WD.

What part of this "trail" loop that is not a residential neighborhood is a nice simple and well maintained Forestry Service Road. There are several ATV trails branching off that I was unable to pursue.
