Trail Overview

The Two Hearted Trail System is the northernmost 50-inch-or-less ORV trail in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. During spring, summer, and fall, it becomes an excellent spot for camping, fishing, and enjoying an all-day ride on a dirt bike or quad. The Two Hearted Trail connector connects the THT West trail system to the THT North and South Trail System. The Connector terrain is mostly hard pack sand, with plenty of roots, occasional slap in the face from low-hanging tree branches, and a few drop-offs and short climbs.

Difficulty

This trail does have a few rooted uphill/downhill sections, a sandy flat with fun berms. Overgrowth and a downed tree could occur on occasion. Be alert, as this trail crosses over a larger vehicle off-road THT trail system.
