Trail Overview

Sawdust Pile Trail is an unmaintained seasonal road in the Pigeon River Country State Forest that is often used for logging operations. It is almost entirely on forest land and has beautiful forest scenery along it. This trail is only open to street-legal vehicles, as are most of the forest roads in this area.

Difficulty

This is an easy seasonal road that is only one-vehicle wide in some areas. The sand may be thicker in some areas as well, which could require the use of four wheel drive. Snow is unplowed in the winter.
