Trail Overview

Sand trails, mild hill climbs, and great views; what more could you ask for? This route will take you through an area that is a little overgrown and could use trimming, but if you don't mind that good ol' Michigan pinstriping, then you'll be fine. There are a few hill climbs and a rewarding lookout midway through the route. There aren't any ruts or muddy pits along the way.

Difficulty

The trails are tight in one spot in particular. The loose sandy hill climb would make this difficult for any 2WD vehicle. Most AWD and 4WD vehicles should travel just fine.

History

The Rose City Lookout Tower no longer exists, but if you look closely, you can still see the cement bases where it used to be.
