Trail Overview

This is an unmaintained county road with trails comprised of almost all sand and dirt--not much gravel to speak of. It requires good off-road tires and high-clearance 4x4s. This trail is very fun on fresh powder with steep hill climbs to test your vehicle on. The access road to Brush Lake is very scenic.

Difficulty

This trail is very sandy with several steep hills and lots of rumble strips in the sand. Good suspension is recommended to enjoy riding this trail.

History

This route has been in existence for many years but is mostly known by locals and not mapped.

Easy trail. I started from manistee forest road. Camped at Brush lake campground. The trail from there is very narrow, lots of pinstripping. I only went a short distance then got off of it
