Trail Overview
NFS 5201 is a fun off-road trail located between North 192nd Avenue & North Maple Island Road. This trail is typically easy with nothing technical, just a few rutted spots that can become muddy and mucky after inclement weather, as well as some exposed tree roots. Most of the trail is a combination of sand and dirt, and winds through a gorgeous section of the Manistee National Forest. Like most of Michigan trails, conditions are dependent on the weather. Recent rainfall can cause mud/water holes that can get rutted out quickly. Most of this trail is only wide enough for 1 vehicle, with limited places to pass. All in all, this is a wonderful trail to get you out in the woods with some of the beautiful nature Michigan has to offer.
