NFS 5116

NFS 5116 is a fun and easy offroad trail near Walgamor Corners. The trail is a combination of sand, dirt, and grass, and bounces through a beautiful section of the Manistee National Forest. This trail is your classical Michigan two-track. You'll be greeted by a portion of tall red pine trees that are breathtaking. Like most Michigan trails, conditions are dependent on the weather. Recent rainfall can cause mud/water holes that can get rutted out quickly. Most of this trail is only wide enough for 1 vehicle with limited places to pass. There is a fair amount of overgrowth along the trail. Please use caution. This track leads to other spur trails that are also a lot of fun and have more to offer. Regardless of the conditions, this is a great trail!
