Trail Overview

The trail starts with rocks but is easy at this point. It does get tight and has some water obstacles with nice rock climbing. Once you get to the main obstacle, called Mu's Nemesis/Halfrish Hill, you have three choices: the left side is the most difficult, the center hill climb can be challenging, and the far right is a bypass. Once you leave the hill climb, you will have a deep water crossing.

The first half of the trail headed east from the Pins is very rocky and slow going. I would absolutely say that part is more challenging than the actual Mus Nemesis hill. If you can make it through the rocky, wet, and tight section of the first half the second half of the trail is a breeze. The waterhole towards the end heading east isn’t super deep but I wouldn’t take a lower slung UTV or ATV into it. The first half is by far more technical and challenging than 90% of the trails on one island. The second half of the trail is similar to many of the other trails.

This is part of the new badge of honor with the Walker trail. Head south from Pins as all challenging climbs go south. All challenging area have bypasses. We had 10 Jeeps from stock to highly custom and all had fun.

Great trail. Our group was a mix of veterans and rookie offroaders. Stock Rubicon and a Stock mojave gladiator had no issued getting though.

Driving from the south takes you through a 20" water crossing at the start of the trail and to the top of Mu's Nemesis. There are boulders welcoming you to the second section of the trail, where both meet at a open area. The trail drops down two rock steps into another water crossing, before a rock garden to the parking lot. The trail is narrow with few areas to pass.
