Manistee National Forest Hayes Road

This is a mostly single-track trail through the Manistee National Forest in Newaygo County. This trail has a surface that varies, including dirt, sand, and mud. You can expect to encounter plenty of mud and puddles, especially during wet weather or the spring thaw. Short sections are two-lane dirt but can be quite rough. There are plenty of areas to pass oncoming traffic.
