Trail Overview

LP 9 to Sinkholes is a mix of a designated ORV trail and a gravel road. It's legal for any vehicle size and type, from large 4x4s to dirt bikes. The designated ORV portion is made up of hardpack dirt and is surrounded by dense forest. The gravel road portion is also surrounded by dense forest. This trail provides access to two state forest campgrounds: Tomahawk Lake and Shoepac Lake, and also access to the Sinkholes hiking path. If you don't want to take this exact trail, there are different gravel roads to take to reach these locations.
