History
Nahma, Michigan, is a historic lumber town established in 1881 by the Bay de Noquet Lumber Company. The company, headquartered in Nahma, operated in the Upper Peninsula for 70 years, processing its last log on July 26, 1951. The town was then put up for sale, but a group of former employees worked to revitalize the town, focusing on repairs and renovations. Kenobo Lake Rd is a timber route.
