Hunters Road is a mild and highly scenic 1.7-mile sandy two-track trail near Wolverine, Michigan, that offers a relaxing ride for beginners, family outings, and experienced drivers looking for a leisurely cruise through dense forests. Starting where Marl Creek Road ends at Peet Road, this easy-going route is ideal for four-wheel-drive vehicles, SxSs, ATVs, and dirt bikes looking to enjoy the beautiful woodland scenery. The trail features a mostly flat elevation profile with less than 30 feet of climbing, making it an inviting option for almost any high-clearance rig. While the majority of the trail is wide and straightforward with a soft sand and dirt surface, the final section stretching north of Wolverine Road becomes considerably tight. Full-size vehicles can still navigate through this northern segment, but those concerned about protecting their clear coat from pinstriping should consider bypassing this portion. This narrower stretch is especially challenging to pass in heavy winter snow when branches hang low and trail width is further reduced.
